Globalisation and the Media

I'm Tammy Walters and I'm currently in my third and final year of a Deakin Bachelor of the Arts Degree, majoring in Public Relations, Media and Communications, and Sociology. Hopefully by the end of this twelve week trimester I will working within the public relations sector as an event manager. My aspirations are to own my own business running numerous types of events around the Geelong and Melbourne region. I hope to have my own music festival and fashion show in particular, however I want to expand into exhibitions, weddings and other events.
Globalisation and the media are crucial elements in my career endeavours as I will be dealing with the media closely and working with artists and organisations on a global level. So stay tuned for future blogs in relation to these areas :)
